Howard Morgan, Managing Director
Howard is one of the UK’s leading specialists in customer service in the
property industry.
Prior to forming RealService (formerly Kingsley Lipsey Morgan) a decade ago, Howard was a director of property company, BAA Lynton where he was the architect of BAA plc’s ‘Property Challenge’ programme; an award winning strategy to grow the company’s property business by treating tenants as valued customers.
Howard contributed the book Property Management: A Customer Focused Approach by Gordon Edington, a former group property director of BAA and past president of the British Property Federation (BPF).
A Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Howard was chairman of the judges panel for the RICS Property Management Awards from 2005 – 2007. He is also a judge for the BCSC ‘Achieving Customer Excellence’ shopping centre awards. Howard is a regular contributor to journals, and speaker at conferences and in-house seminars, on the themes of customer service and business ethics in the
property industry.
Howard cycles eight miles to work every day - useful training for his long distance bike rides which over the years have raised £25,000 for Norwood, a charity for children and adults with learning disabilities. His most recent ride was in November 2008 when he cycled 400km across South Africa’s Western Cape in temperatures of up to 100°F.
Married with two teenage daughters, Howard’s hobbies also include classic cars (his pride and joy a 1988 Mercedes 300 SL), hill walking and Jazz music – particularly that of, the so called ‘Picasso of Jazz’, Miles Davis.
