Gillian Westford, Senior Consultant

Gillian studied law at LSE and spent 10 years as a litigation lawyer in several leading firms of City solicitors. Her legal training helped develop good team work, a keen sense of detail and an ability to see the big picture. Business trips abroad including to the Far East during that time encouraged her love of travel, which today translates into a strong desire to conquer new territories, if only with a camera.

She has worked as an associate of RealService over the past 10 years on a variety of projects, and specialises in Post Occupation and Lost Enquiries work. She is also a verifier for the RealService Best Practice Group and as a long-serving member of the team she has built up strong relationships with both colleagues and clients.

Gillian works as a voluntary adviser at the Citizens Advice Bureau, a role which makes full use of her skills of communication, interviewing and looking at all possible options to help solve a problem.

She is married with two children and two cats and her interests include singing, dancing, netball and tennis. She says she has become a passionate customer service champion and places great importance on being ‘green’.
